Homestead Design

Wondering where to place infrastructure, livestock, gardens and all of the other elements that make up a fully functioning homestead? Our designers analyze your property through a permaculture lens so you'll receive recommendations that keep inputs minimal and outputs optimal. 

Construction

Through our own homesteading journey, we realized how much time goes into creating farm infrastructure like chicken coops, barns, and garden beds, and fencing. Tennessee Homestead Design specializes in designing infrastructure specifically for your homestead goals.

Garden & Food Forest Installation

We can tell you the best place to plant your garden, food forest, or orchard for maximum production and do the back-breaking work for you! In addition, we can supply many of the trees you need at a more affordable price through our nursery. 

Homestead Classes

Our founder, Matt Hundley, is a passionate and gifted teacher. He enjoys simplifying gardening and homesteading systems for homestead, homeschool, and private groups. We can come to you or we can offer classes at our nursery in Centerville (Centerville Farms) or our farm in Nunnelly (Hollowtop Farms).
